hmms. firstly i would like to congrats the newly elected 3rd students' council! yay. may u guys continue to bring out the enthusiasm in all meridians. i believe in each and everyone of u. (: oh yea, i saw wilmond today! yup. cos he's tpjc's student councillor what. i borrowed his blazer and took a pic of myself and socks. it's my hp wallpaper. =D it's damn seh. next time can show people and haolian. wahahhaha. =x
disclaimer. vj studens please do not read beyond this point. i have already been dao-ed by lots of vjcians cos of their temporary foul mood. ok i feel bad to a certain extent but i'm seriously saddened by this. i'm angry yet disappointed in u. we were friends since i was in sec 1 and now u give me a cold shoulder. i guess environment does play an important part in building a person's character.
before i forget the highlight, i'm here to bring forth to u all blogders the
heated match between MJC and VJC! yup. it's a mark in history. mjc soccer champions!!! oh yea. never did we expect to win this match. hahaha! actually we thought that it was a losing match for sure. we just didn't want to lose too terribly. but anyhow, we managed to turn the tables around and show them what meridians are made of!
yes. it was a great match. exciting cos both sides were on par with each other. *as in skills wise. seriously, we had to stand up to watch the entire match cos it was too unsupportive of us to be sitting down! throughout the whole match, mjcians were cheering non stop for the players. yelling and yelling like no end.. it was tiring no doubt but in the end it was all worth it. we're proud of u guys!!!
hmms. after the invesiture, we waited for the bus to ferry us to kallang national stadium. *btw, we were behaving like a class of kindergarden kids goin on a field trip. -.-! such is the uniqueness of o5s2o5 okay! =D we rawk. haha..! anyways, we made ALOT of noise on the bus *as usual! =p and were the earliest batch of meridians to reach the empty stadium. *excludin the secondary pupils who were there to support the earlier match. haha.~ i did very little socialising cos only steph wee *from dunman* was in vjc. so i knew v little people. hence just sticked with my fellow classmates. and we saw the vjc flag. a line of students were running around the stadium with the flag (which was red and yellow.) up high. it looked like an advertisement for the chicken "ayam brand". lol. sorry.
well, the siglap students moved out of the stadium thus we moved up to fill up the spaces in front. and guess what!? haha. preetiee boy was sitting *sort of* directly in front of me la. and my class girls were as usual teasing me. wahhas. luckily he nv hears anything. *or actually bothers to pay attention. hee.. from when the match started to the end, my eyes were focused on the soccer ball and that only! mjc kicked in with a good start leading with a score of 1-0 becos of a nice goal somewhere in the beginning of the match. yups. *actually, i was really happy with the goal cos i thought mjc would go fully defensive, winning the match eventually! =x* but the match went on pretty violent as i could tell that mjc was getting a lil physical already. thus, we were given the yellow card and a penalty kick was given to vjc. luckily for them, they managed to score with that one kick. hence the score was tied up. that was when we started to get nervous. cos it was already past half time and there wasn't enough time to put in another goal to clinch the win. obviously we didn't like the idea of the penalty kick cos it would mean that more pressure would be exerted on the soccer players. *in my opinion, i think that the penalty kick's a fluke. it's too based on luck! hahas. that's how i feel la. =p~ not only that, watchin the kicks one by one is damn torturing! so nerve wrecking! haha.. *shivers. anyways, even with the extra time limit of 10 mins, it was still a break even score of 1-1. haha.
so yea. *the thing i dreaded, we had resort to the penalty kicks thing. haha.. the stadium suddenly fell dead silent! after each goal, we cheered loudly for the mj soccer players! for each miss vj made, we cheered EVEN louder! hahaha. well, vjc screwed up one of the kicks cos he kicked it up too high thus missed the net! yup. so we were damn happy about it. wasn't sure how many kick ins there were. so i was so freaking nervous. me alesia and val cheah held each other shoulder to shoulder, hoping for the best. at the fifth goal, mj missed the penalty kick.! that was like such a letdown. cos that meant that we were tied again. so the final goal was the crucial deciding factor of the match. we were damn fortunate cos our hopes were realised.
vjc actually missed that next kick. heh heh. mjc stood a high chance of winning already! so ignorant me.. *not knowin that we had to kick in another goal to offically win the match.* was by that time hugging alesia so tight i couldnt breathe. then i proceeded to hugging angeline and val cheah / tan. hahaha.. the mj soccer players were so elated that they kinda knew that championship was theirs to claim, they actually ran up to the mj soccer stand to hug their fellow soccer mates. lols. it was definately a heart-warming sight. so as the final shot had to be made sooner or later, our star player went up without hesitating and gave it his all.
OF COS IT WENT IN LA! or not i won't be here already rite. lols! *waste my time updatin a match that we lost. haha.. =p~ LOTS OF HUGGING GOIN ON with anybody and everybody! *LOL. wish i went up to hug pweetiee boy. but nah i didnt. -.-! AND CHEERING / CLAPPING. SO LOUD I ALMOST BECAME DEAF!the best part was the prize ceremony. yea.. the feeling was pure gratification. =p~
okay la. we have to thank the victorians for havin good sportsmanship. ahem ahems. ya. we cheered for them okies! and then we sang the school song!
NOT forgetting that friday is a holiday for all meridians. yes la. =D
after the match, val tan/cheah alesia and me were still in a high and joyful mood! hahas. we didn't plan to shake off the cheery mood either. so we continued with the "Why are we so pro.. We also dunno!" and "Lets go! MJ!" cheer all the way to suntec. ha. its damn bhb la. z.. i think we irritated some vjcians on the way. lol! anyways, i don't blame them about being sore with the loss. mj had only 2 national players as compared to their team. and they were the defending champions for this year. so, just take it in ur stride la. kan kai yi dian. it was a close fight!
me and val tan took the same train back cos val cheah pangseh-ed us for some guy while alesia took the north line mrt. to yishun. hees.. then we just discussed about some stuff. haha. at that point in time was already drained of all my energy. feel like jus dropping dead on my bed!!! ):
i thought over it long and hard. i'm not gonna bother myself with pweetiee boy any longer. no special efforts this time. i jus wanna maple hard and study hard. *get my bandit to lv 30 ? and complete my work. on time. =x
tmr - choir concert. and i'm going. fun fun fun! hmms. OMG. it's gonna be 12~ and i've yet to start on work. shit. haha.
